“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow;
though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

This Easter we worked with the youth at SMCF to run a youth lead service to celebrate what Jesus has done for us. We decided to write a short drama based around Isaiah 1:18 “Come now, let us settle the matter,” says the Lord.
“Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool."

Last weekend I went along to an event run by The Worship Studio, a US based organisation with a vision to see the creative arts used around the world for the glory of God. They were running a weekend event in West Kilbride and so I thought since it was within driving distance I would go along and see what it was like! The event took place at the YWAM Seamill building which was beautiful inside and out. There were many different rooms so plenty of space for different workshops. Art and IntercessionOne workshop which I found particularly interesting was run by Jörn Lange titled Intercession and Creative Expression. We began the workshop by discussing what we thought intercession was and how any of us taking part in the workshop had previously used art with intercession. Jörn then went onto talk about intercession, explaining what it is and how it can be used with art and why it is a good idea. He shared some of his testimony about how he came to do art and intercession, he showed us many examples of art works created for intercession and he told us the stories behind each one which was so interesting!
